Privacy Policy

What we use, why we use it and how to exercise your data protection rights.

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Data controller and contact

TECTONIC SHOE SHOP LTD is the controller for customer and enquiry information we receive. Company number: 17550336. Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NA. Contact tectonic.olga@outlook.com or +44 7846 866 834 for privacy questions. No separate data protection officer is named.

2. What this website does

The enquiry form prepares a draft in your own email application or copies text for you. It does not automatically submit the form to us. Entered names, addresses and contact details are not saved by our storefront code in browser storage. If you choose to send an email, we receive what you include. Your email application or device may independently save drafts under its own settings.

The bag stores product codes, selected colours, EU sizes and quantities locally on your device. The delivery market and cookie preference are also stored locally. Hosting and access services may process IP addresses, request times, browser/device details and security logs. The current private site uses ChatGPT sign-in for access; the sign-in service processes authentication information under its own privacy notice. Do not send payment card details or identity documents through an ordinary enquiry.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Our current storefront has no analytics, advertising trackers, newsletter registration or automated eligibility decisions. A purchase or enquiry does not sign you up for marketing. Providing order contact and delivery information is necessary to arrange supply; without it, we may not be able to quote or complete an order. Optional fields can be left blank.

4. Recipients

We use an Outlook mailbox to receive correspondence. Relevant hosting/access, email, payment, carrier and fulfilment providers may process the information needed for their service. Payment and delivery providers are involved only when their service is actually arranged; no live card checkout currently operates here. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive information where required. We do not sell enquiry lists.

5. International processing

Providers may process information in countries outside the UK. The location and applicable transfer arrangements depend on the actual provider and service. Where UK transfer restrictions apply, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is required, such as an adequacy arrangement or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data. This notice does not claim that all data remains in the UK.

6. Retention

We normally retain enquiries that do not become orders for up to 12 months after the conversation closes, unless a dispute or another justified need requires longer. Order/invoice records needed for company tax are normally kept for six years from the end of the financial year concerned, longer where legally required. Access-log retention is controlled by the hosting/access service; contact us about the information available for a particular request.

Browser bag and market data persists until removed or browser storage is cleared; the bag can be emptied at any time. The privacy-choice record is used for 180 days before the choice is requested again. See our Cookie Policy. We review records and remove or anonymise information when it is no longer needed; legal record-keeping duties can prevent immediate deletion.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to relevant processing and withdraw consent for consent-based uses. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Contact us using the details above. We may need proportionate information to verify identity; do not send unnecessary documents.

We normally respond without undue delay and within one month, with any permitted extension explained. Applicable rules can allow clarification or verification to affect that timing. Requests are normally free. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office without being required to complete our complaints process first.

8. Changes

The date at the top identifies this version. We will update this notice if the service changes, for example when live payments or analytics are introduced, and provide information or obtain consent as required before new processing begins.
